NoaLia Captures Israel's Natural Beauty in 14 Karat Gold
Israel—December 2, 2015—NoaLia, the design team of Noa Liran and Lia Kirel (Shop on Etsy or Facebook), has introduced The Golden Nature Collection, botanically-inspired gold jewelry that mirrors the unique flora indigenous to Israel. The collection features earrings, necklaces and rings in the shapes and colors of native leaves, twigs, flowers and fruits.
“Our collection is crafted from 14 karat gold, gemstones and pearls and is as elegant and delicate as the plant life that inspired them,” said Liran. “In creating this line of fine jewelry expressly for nature lovers, we have been guided by the words of Honoré de Balzac who said: ‘It is not the mission of art to copy nature—but to express it.’”
Each item in the collection reflects nature’s handiwork and is uniquely original as no two designs are exactly alike. Prices range from under $100 to about $600, depending on size and materials. Orders are filled by the artists as they are received. For more information visit their Shop on Etsy. Or their Facebook page.
NoaLia is a collaboration of two modern, natural material artists and jewelry designers who have exhibited their work in galleries around the world including Holland, France, Germany, China and the United States. Lia Kirel came to Israel from Mexico at the age of 20, to study goldsmithing at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. After graduating she opened a studio in Tel Aviv and taught goldsmithing techniques. Noa Liran, who has a master’s degree in biology, first met Kirel as a student in her goldsmithing class. The two bonded over their love of jewelry craft and nature and after a long friendship decided to form NoaLia.
