AJPA Membership Vote Required - Bylaws Amendment
Share |

On Feb. 4, 2016, AJPA's executive committee made a motion to approve an amendment to the bylaws, specifically referring to the ability for Website members to hold office in the AJPA.

Article V, Section 5.1 (f) of the current bylaws state, "Websites that have unique domain names separate from an associated print publication, with primarily original content, and that serve a news/features interest to the Jewish community may apply for a Website membership. Website members are entitled to vote, but may not hold office in the AJPA."

The amendment to bylaws, which requires a majority vote by the general membership, is below:

"Websites that have unique domain names separate from an associated print publication, with primarily original content, and that serve a news/features interest to the Jewish community may apply for a Website membership. Website members are entitled to all privileges of membership, including the right to hold office and each Website member shall be entitled to one (1) vote. Website members may serve on and take part in all committees of the AJPA."

We ask that you please vote to approve or reject this amendment by completing the form below by Thursday, March 3.
