Usage Rights/Public Domain Policies

AJPA has compiled references that can help members determine if a photo, artwork or other material is in the public domain. Keep in mind that usage rights to copyrighted materials must be applied for both news articles and advertisements and that artwork that may be considered as fair use for a news article may not be legal in an advertisement.
