Ryan Torok is an award-winning journalist in Los Angeles.
For the past decade, Ryan has worked as a staff writer at Tribe Media Corporation, one of the West Coast’s largest weekly newspapers, where he has published 1,700 articles. He has conducted on-the-street interviews, reported offbeat, eccentric stories and spoken with Congressman Adam Schiff, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and other political figures. He has covered rallies and news conferences and taken on assignments abroad. During print and video reporting, he thrives on approaching ordinary people and discovering what they care about in a short period of time – any reporter’s mandate. In his free time, Ryan writes song lyrics and plays acoustic guitar, enjoys the outdoors and music from all eras, and spends time with his family.
